Features
The features section covers active pieces of work in which the Society is engaged. These include:Join our Survey
As the link just above tells you, the MoJ is proposing to cap experts’ fees in legally aided cases at frighteningly low levels. The Society is conducting a survey for members and non-members alike to enable it to represent the views of all experts.
It is vitally important that the responses come from a truly representative sample of the expert world, which means we also want to hear from those of you who do no legally aided work at all.
To make it as easy as possible, the questionnaire has been designed to be able to be completed in less than a minute without the need to refer to records or statistics. Where figures are asked for, the ranges are wide and a fair estimate is all that is required. To make it even easier and to save you having to plough through the entire MoJ document, an explanatory feature article is provided. Click the link above to take you to the explanatory article. From there you will find a direct link to the survey form – it’s only one page!
